LINDA HOLIDAY

We all had a great time with Linda when she brought her light and powerful Aikido to our club. A couple of hours of chats, instruction and questions along with great answers from Linda both about Aikido and her journey from starting in Aikido in collage ( a great little story in it’s own that you can read in her book ), through to her time in Japan training with Kisshomaru Ushiba, Michio Hikitsuchi and others in the Hombo Dojo, meeting up with Mary Heiny as well as her time living in the Kumano region of Japan training with Motomichi Anno Shihan who she still trains with whenever possible.

As you can probably see from the photos the pure enjoyment shared by everyone the mat was a strong reflection of Lindas love for the art we share, her touch light yet focused and with purpose in every moment, I could not help myself from smiling watching her translating the Aikido she does with ours. Just wonderful, when we share we grow.
