We are continuing our Youth focused Aikido classes every Wednesday. Aikido is a great way to nurture respect, an understanding of others, and is a fun way of burning off some energy with plenty to fun focused learning and a little bit of the Japanese way of doing things too.

Our Aikido for kids in Harold’s Cross offers structured martial arts training for children aged 7–15. Classes focus on movement, balance, awareness and respect — all taught in a positive, non-competitive dojo atmosphere. Yes. Safety is central to our teaching.
Aikido does not involve striking or competitive sparring. Techniques are practised in controlled partner exercises under supervision. Students learn how to fall safely before practising any throws.

Does my child need experience?
No experience is required. Beginners are welcome at any time.
What should they wear?
Comfortable sports clothing to start. A uniform (gi) can be purchased later if they decide to continue.

Yes, parents are welcome to observe respectfully from the side of the dojo.
